£6.5 million prize on offer for inventor

A $10 million (£6.5 mill) prize has been offered to researchers who can create a Star-trek like medical gadget that is capable of capturing 'key health metrics and diagnosing a set of 15 diseases'.
The Qualcomm Tricorder X Prize was launched at the CES in Las Vegas and must weigh a maximum of 5lb.
So come on Trekkies, get inventing!
